Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup organic soy milk (or other plant milk)
  • 1 very ripe banana (frozen recommended)
  • 1 3/4 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp pure almond extract
  • Optional toppings coconut whipped cream (coco whip!) and vegan sprinkles

Instructions

  • Start by assembling all your ingredients on the countertop. Make sure your banana is ripe, preferably frozen, as this will give your shake a creamy texture and natural sweetness.
  • In your blender, combine the 3/4 cup of organic soy milk, the frozen banana, almond butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and almond extract.
  • Secure the lid on your blender and blend on high until everything is well combined and you have a smooth, creamy consistency. If the shake seems too thick, feel free to add a little more plant milk to reach your desired consistency.
  • Give your shake a quick taste test. If you desire a bit more sweetness, add a touch more maple syrup. Blend again briefly to mix.
  • Pour the shake into a glass or mason jar. If you’re feeling fancy, top with coconut whipped cream and sprinkle some vegan confetti sprinkles on top for that festive cake vibe.
