  • Step 3: Cut the cold butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.

  • Step 5: Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and pat it into a rectangle about 1-inch thick.
  • Step 6: Cut the biscuits into circles or squares without twisting the cutter.
  • Step 7: Place the cut biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
