Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Using a sharp knife, slice the baguette into ½-inch thick rounds.
Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet in a single layer.
Drizzle the olive oil over the baguette slices and brush evenly.
Rub the cut side of the garlic clove over the tops of the baguette slices.
Toast the baguette in the oven for about 8-10 minutes, until golden brown.
Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
