Start by gathering all your ingredients. Drain the feta cheese from the brine, and if needed, cut it into cubes.
In a medium bowl, mix the dried oregano and dry chili peppers.
Add the minced garlic, sliced jalapeño, and lemon zest to the bowl. Stir to combine.
Drizzle the extra-virgin olive oil over the herb mixture. Mix well until all the ingredients are coated in oil.
In your glass jar or container, place a layer of the marinated mixture at the bottom, then add a layer of feta cheese. Continue layering until all ingredients are used.
