Ingredients

  • 1 box Betty Crocker’s Black and White Cupcake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 pouch Frosting pouch (included in the cupcake mix)
  • 2 tsp water (for frosting)
  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • Sprinkles (for decoration)
  • 24 Oreos (for the ears)

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat the Oven - Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Step 2: Prepare the Cupcake Batter - In a large mixing bowl, combine the cupcake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Mix well until smooth.
  • Step 3: Line the Cupcake Tin - Place cupcake liners in a cupcake tin.
  • Step 4: Fill the Cupcake Liners - Pour the batter into the liners, filling each about two-thirds full.
  • Step 5: Bake the Cupcakes - Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Step 6: Cool the Cupcakes - Let them cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.
  • Step 7: Prepare the Frosting - Combine the frosting pouch with 2 tsp of water and 1/2 cup of softened butter. Beat until fluffy.
  • Step 8: Frost the Cupcakes - Frost each cupcake with the prepared frosting.
  • Step 9: Create Mickey Mouse Features - Break Oreos in half and place them on top of the frosted cupcake for ears.
  • Step 10: Serve and Enjoy! - Your Mickey Mouse Cupcakes are ready to be enjoyed!
