1cupfiltered water
1tablespoonfresh gingersliced
½tablespoonfresh turmericsliced (or ½ teaspoon ground turmeric)
¼cupfresh mint leaves
⅓cuppineapple core chunksdiced
⅛teaspoonpink Himalayan salt
1teaspoonloose oolong teaor 1 oolong tea bag, tag removed
1lemon verbena tea bag, tag removed
1squeezefresh lemon juice

1teaspoon raw apple-cider vinegar
1–2teaspoonsraw honey
Instructions
In a small saucepan, combine the water, ginger, turmeric, mint, pineapple core, and salt.
Warm over medium-low heat until tiny bubbles appear (about 190 °F / 88 °C).
Remove from heat, add the oolong tea and lemon verbena tea bag, cover, and steep 5 minutes.
Stir in the apple-cider vinegar and lemon juice.
Strain into a pre-warmed mug, taste, and sweeten with honey if desired.
Serve hot, or chill and refrigerate up to 3 days.
Notes
• For a cold-brew, steep all ingredients in cool water in a sealed jar in the refrigerator for 8–12 hours, then strain. • Freeze leftover pineapple cores in 1-inch chunks; they double as flavor-packed ice cubes.
