Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour plus 2 tbsp
  • 1.5 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 cup butter softened
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar packed
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups Nestle Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure even baking.
  • Step 2: In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and dark brown sugar using an electric mixer until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Step 4: Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then add the vanilla extract and mix until combined.
  • Step 5: Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  • Step 6: Gently fold in the Nestle semi-sweet chocolate chips with a spatula or wooden spoon until evenly distributed.
  • Step 7: Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto prepared baking sheets, leaving 2 inches of space between each.
  • Step 8: Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Let cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to cooling racks.
