In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and fold in 8 ounces of Cool Whip. Spread this mixture over the Oreo crust.
In a separate bowl, whisk together instant chocolate pudding mix and 3 cups of milk for about 2 minutes until thickened. Pour this layer over the cream cheese layer.
