Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 30 pieces Oreos
  • 6 tablespoons salted butter softened

For the Filling:

  • 1 cup salted butter melted
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 ½ cups creamy peanut butter divided

For the Topping:

  • 1 cup semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips

Instructions

From Start to Finish:

  • Step 1: Prepare the Oreo Crust - Crush the 30 Oreos into fine crumbs. Combine with 6 tablespoons of softened salted butter in a mixing bowl until it resembles wet sand.
  • Step 2: Press the Crust into the Pan - Grease the 9x13 inch baking pan lightly. Pour the Oreo crumb mixture into the pan and press it down firmly to create an even layer.
  • Step 3: Mix the Peanut Butter Filling - In a separate bowl, combine the melted 1 cup of salted butter with 1 cup of creamy peanut butter and 2 cups of powdered sugar. Mix until smooth.
  • Step 4: Layer the Filling - Spread the peanut butter filling over the pressed Oreo crust in the baking pan, ensuring it's smooth and covers the entire surface.
  • Step 5: Melt the Chocolate Topping - In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the 1 cup of chocolate chips. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring until melted and smooth.
  • Step 6: Pour the Chocolate Over the Bars - Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer and spread it evenly using a spatula.
  • Step 7: Chill the Bars - Refrigerate the bars for at least 2 hours or until set.
  • Step 8: Cut and Serve - Once set, remove the bars from the refrigerator and cut into squares or rectangles. Serve chilled.
