  • 1 pound Raw shrimp (31-40 count) Thawed if frozen, peeled and deveined
  • 4 small Garlic cloves Minced or pressed
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon Paprika Smoked or regular
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 1 whole Lemon Juice and zest to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  • Step 1: Prepare the Shrimp - Ensure shrimp are thawed, peeled, deveined, and rinsed under cold water. Pat dry with paper towels.
  • Step 2: Season the Shrimp - In a mixing bowl, combine shrimp with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and paprika. Toss until evenly coated.
  • Step 3: Heat the Pan - In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add butter once oil is shimmering.
  • Step 4: Sear the Shrimp - Place shrimp in a single layer in the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  • Step 5: Add Garlic - Flip shrimp and add minced garlic. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until shrimp are opaque.
  • Step 6: Finish with Lemon and Parsley - Remove from heat, squeeze lemon juice over shrimp, and sprinkle with zest and parsley. Toss gently.
  • Step 7: Serve and Enjoy - Transfer shrimp to a serving dish, adding any remaining sauce from the pan. Enjoy immediately.
