Ingredients

For the Bars:

  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter melted
  • 1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter melted
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 cup Light Brown Sugar packed
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt or to taste
  • 1 cup Old-Fashioned Whole-Rolled Oats do not substitute with quick cook or instant oats
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Light Brown Sugar for added flavor in the crumble
  • 1 9-ounce jar Smuckers Fruit and Honey Strawberry Fruit Spread

Instructions

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line a 9x9-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted unsalted butter, melted creamy peanut butter, and granulated sugar. Whisk until smooth. Add in the large egg and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, light brown sugar, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  • Pour half of the peanut butter mixture into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly across the bottom.
  • Spread the entire jar of Smuckers Fruit and Honey Strawberry Fruit Spread evenly over the peanut butter layer.
  • In a new bowl, combine the remaining peanut butter mixture with the old-fashioned rolled oats, the remaining all-purpose flour, and granulated sugar. Mix until crumbly, then sprinkle this mixture evenly over the fruit spread.
  • Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the crumble topping is golden brown.
  • Once baked, remove the pan from the oven and let it cool completely in the pan on a wire rack. Lift the bars out using the parchment paper overhang, slice into squares, and enjoy!
