Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/3 cup cold butter cubed
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1 1/4 cups mozzarella cheese grated
  • 1/4 cup cheddar cheese grated
  • 3.5 oz pepperoni diced
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and sugar. Whisk them together until well blended.
  • Add the cold, cubed butter to the dry ingredients. Using a pastry cutter or fork, cut the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Stir in the granulated garlic, mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, and diced pepperoni. Mix until everything is evenly distributed.
  • Pour in the milk and stir gently until just combined. Be careful not to over-mix.
  • Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Gently knead it a few times, then pat it into a circle about 1-inch thick. Cut into wedges or use a biscuit cutter.
  • Place the scones on your prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Allow the scones to cool slightly on a wire rack before serving. Enjoy them warm!
