Step 1: Start with your choice of steak, ideally 1-inch thick. Pat it dry with paper towels to remove any excess moisture.
Step 2: Drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil over the steak, rubbing it in to coat evenly. Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Step 3: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Step 4: Place the seasoned steak into the air fryer basket. Cook for about 10-12 minutes for medium-rare, flipping halfway through.
Step 5: Mix together ½ cup of softened unsalted butter, 1 minced garlic clove, 1 teaspoon of fresh rosemary, 1 teaspoon of fresh thyme, and 1 teaspoon of fresh parsley.
Step 6: Once the steak is cooked, let it rest for at least 5 minutes before serving with herb butter on top.
