Press the tofu to remove excess moisture by wrapping it in a clean kitchen towel and placing a heavy object on top for 15-20 minutes.
Once pressed, cut the tofu into 1-inch bite-sized cubes.
In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch, whisking until smooth.
Add cubed tofu to the bowl and gently toss to coat. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
Place the marinated tofu in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking halfway through.
Once golden brown and crispy, remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.
