Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 10 ounces miniature marshmallows divided
  • ¾ cup Dutch-process cocoa powder
  • 1 cup almond butter
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Step 1: Prepare Your Pan - Grease your 8x8-inch baking pan with a little butter or line it with parchment paper for easy removal later.
  • Step 2: Melt the Butter and Marshmallows - In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the unsalted butter and miniature marshmallows. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until melted and smooth (about 1-2 minutes).
  • Step 3: Mix in Cocoa Powder and Almond Butter - Once melted, stir in the Dutch-process cocoa powder and almond butter. Mix until smooth.
  • Step 4: Add Rice Krispies and Walnuts - Gently fold in the Rice Krispies and chopped walnuts until evenly coated.
  • Step 5: Incorporate Additional Marshmallows and Chocolate Chips - Add the remaining miniature marshmallows and mini chocolate chips. Stir until just combined.
  • Step 6: Transfer to the Baking Pan - Pour the mixture into your prepared baking pan and press down evenly.
  • Step 7: Cool and Set - Allow to cool at room temperature for 30 minutes to an hour or refrigerate for quicker results.
