  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped pecans toasted

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Evenly place the Saltine crackers on the lined baking sheet, covering the entire surface.
  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the salted butter and light brown sugar. Stir continuously until it boils, then boil for 3-4 minutes without stirring.
  • Carefully pour the toffee mixture over the crackers, ensuring they are completely covered.
  • Bake for about 5-7 minutes until bubbly and caramelized, monitoring closely.
  • Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over the hot toffee. Let sit for a few minutes, then spread melted chocolate evenly.
  • Sprinkle with chopped pecans and gently press down with a spatula.
  • Cool completely at room temperature or refrigerate, then break into pieces and enjoy!
