Ingredients

  • 1 package crescent rolls (usually 8 count)
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup cooked chicken sausage crumbled
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Start by softening your cream cheese to room temperature, which will make it easier to mix. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese with the crumbled cooked chicken sausage. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until well combined. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it for easy cleanup.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles as per package instructions. On each triangle, spread a generous spoonful of the sausage cream cheese mixture, leaving a small border around the edges.
  • Starting from the wider end of the triangle, carefully roll each crescent roll toward the pointed tip, encasing the filling. Place the rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet to prevent them from unrolling during baking.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the tops of each crescent roll. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  • Once baked, remove the crescent rolls from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Sprinkle chopped parsley over the top for a fresh pop of color and flavor. Serve warm and enjoy!
