Before you start mixing, make sure all your ingredients are ready. Dice the cherry tomatoes, chop the green onions, and mince the garlic if you’re using fresh cloves.
In a large mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese and mayo. Use a spatula to blend them together until smooth and creamy.
Mix in the lemon zest, minced garlic, hot sauce, and Old Bay seasoning. Add a pinch of salt and pepper to taste. If you like a bit of heat, toss in the cayenne pepper.
Gently fold in the crab meat, shredded cheddar cheese, diced cherry tomatoes, and chopped green onions. Be careful not to break up the crab too much; you want to maintain some texture.
If you prefer a warm dip, transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Spread it evenly in the dish.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the dip for about 20-25 minutes, or until it’s bubbly and golden on top. If you’re serving it cold, skip this step!
Serve your Seafood Dip warm or cold with your favorite crackers, toasted bread, or fresh vegetables. Enjoy!
