Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 pounds boneless beef chuck roast
  • 1 packet onion soup & dip mix
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup Coca-Cola or a Mini Coke can

Instructions

  • Start by trimming any excess fat from the beef chuck roast. Season it with salt and pepper to taste.
  • In a bowl, combine the onion soup mix, ketchup, and Coca-Cola. Stir until fully mixed.
  • Transfer the seasoned beef roast to the Crock Pot. Pour the sauce mixture over the top, ensuring the beef is well coated.
  • Cover the Crock Pot and set it on low heat. Allow the beef to cook for 8 to 10 hours, or until it’s fork-tender.
  • Once cooked, remove the beef from the Crock Pot and place it on a cutting board. Using shredder claws or two forks, shred the meat into bite-sized pieces.
  • Return the shredded beef to the Crock Pot and stir it into the remaining sauce. Let it heat through for about 15 minutes.
