Start by rinsing the whole chicken under cold water and patting it dry with paper towels.

Rub the seasoning mixture all over the chicken, ensuring to get it under the skin and inside the cavity.
Place the seasoned chicken breast-side up in the slow cooker.
Cover the slow cooker and set it to low. Cook for about 6 to 8 hours until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
For an extra crispy skin, transfer the cooked chicken to a baking sheet and broil it in the oven for about 5 minutes.
