Instructions
Start by rinsing the broccoli florets under cold running water. Cut into bite-sized pieces if necessary for even cooking.
Fill a pot with about an inch of water and place the steamer basket above the water, ensuring the water does not touch the broccoli. Alternatively, use a microwave-safe dish with a lid.
