Teriyaki Drumsticks

These Teriyaki Drumsticks are a deliciously easy weeknight dinner that will have everyone coming back for more!

Ingredients

For the Drumsticks:

  • 1 pound chicken drumsticks
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger grated
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup scallions sliced, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Instructions:

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Step 2: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, and cornstarch until well combined.
  • Step 3: Pat the chicken drumsticks dry with paper towels. Place the drumsticks in a large bowl and pour half of the teriyaki sauce over them. Toss to coat well.
  • Step 4: Arrange the drumsticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a wire rack. Bake for 30 minutes.
  • Step 5: After 30 minutes, remove the drumsticks and brush them with the remaining teriyaki sauce. Bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
  • Step 6: Let the drumsticks rest for a few minutes, garnish with sliced scallions, and serve hot.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
