Ingredients

For the Chicken Bites:

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder for extra kick
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce for dipping
  • as needed vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

Instructions:

  • Start by cutting the boneless, skinless chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and red chili powder. Mix well.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the egg and milk until well combined.
  • Dip each piece of chicken into the egg and milk mixture, then coat thoroughly in the flour mixture.
  • Heat about an inch of vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the coated chicken pieces to the hot oil, frying for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
  • Remove the chicken bites from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  • Serve warm with sweet chili sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
