Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose or plain flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar or sweetener
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  • Step 1: Prepare the Waffle Iron. Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions. Lightly grease if needed.
  • Step 2: Mix the Dry Ingredients. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
