  • Step 1: Prepare Your Steaks - Start by taking the ribeye steaks out of the refrigerator. Allow them to come to room temperature for about 30-60 minutes.
  • Step 2: Season Generously - Pat the steaks dry with paper towels. Drizzle the olive oil over the steaks, then season both sides generously with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  • Step 3: Heat the Skillet - Place your cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Allow it to become very hot.
