  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup peanut butter (creamy or crunchy, use a no-stir brand)
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup peanut butter chips
  • 1 cup chopped Butterfinger pieces
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Cream together the softened unsalted butter and peanut butter until smooth and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
  • Add the packed brown sugar, large egg, vanilla extract, and milk. Mix until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in the peanut butter chips, chopped Butterfinger pieces, and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  • Spread the batter in the prepared baking pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  • Allow to cool for 10-15 minutes, then lift out using parchment paper and let cool completely before slicing.

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Baking pan (9x13)
  • Parchment Paper
  • Spatula

Notes

  • Do not overmix the batter once you add the flour for the best texture.
  • Chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking to enhance flavor and prevent spreading.
  • Swap Butterfingers for your favorite chocolate bar or add nuts for extra crunch.
  • Sprinkle sea salt on top before baking for extra sweetness.
