Ingredients

  • 1 large loaf Italian ciabatta or French baguette crusty on the outside and soft on the inside
  • 3 tablespoons roasted garlic
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1/4 cup mixed minced fresh herbs oregano, basil, rosemary, and parsley
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes optional

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure even baking.
  • Slice the loaf in half lengthwise on a cutting board.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, roasted garlic, herbs, cheese, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix well.
  • Spread the garlic butter mixture generously over the cut sides of the bread.
  • Place the bread halves cut-side up on a baking sheet and bake for about 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven, let cool briefly, slice if necessary, and serve warm.
