Ingredients

  • 300 g flour
  • 60 g butter unsalted, cubed
  • 150-200 ml yogurt plain
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 5 g baking powder
  • Honey to taste
  • Flaked almonds to taste

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat Your Oven. Start by preheating your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • Step 2: Prepare Your Baking Sheet. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Step 3: Mix Dry Ingredients. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Step 4: Cut in Butter. Add the cubed butter to the flour mixture and cut until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Step 5: Add Yogurt and Honey. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients, add yogurt and honey.
  • Step 6: Incorporate Flaked Almonds. Gently fold in the flaked almonds.
  • Step 7: Form the Scones. Turn the dough onto a floured surface, knead gently, and cut into wedges.
