Yogurt Flatbread

This Yogurt Flatbread is SO EASY! Perfectly soft and warm, it's a versatile addition to any meal.

Ingredients

For the Flatbread:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup plain whole milk yogurt
  • to taste Freshly chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Instructions:

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add the plain whole milk yogurt to the dry ingredients and gently mix until a dough begins to form.
  • Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead it for about 2-3 minutes until smooth.
  • Cover the dough with a clean kitchen towel and let it rest for about 15-20 minutes.
  • Divide the dough into 6-8 pieces, roll each into a ball, and flatten into disks about 1/4 inch thick.
  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook each flatbread for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Store leftover flatbread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
